really shows you the power of these bombs, wish it looked like this in AH2
.
the explosives used in the mk82 500lber since the 60's seems to look like the WWII version packed about the same punch.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_RM19hOMo4

the 60's version added aluminum powder (tritinum) to add to the thermal punch and accelerate the power of the
TNT used making the TNT about 18% more explosive power.
.

.
the speed retarder fins from the video above dropped as low as the F100 in the above picture are impressive when you
are on the ground a few hundred feet from the impact point, they pass just a few hundred feet over your head looking
like a little kids play jacks tumbling towards you. The blastwave that close feels like someone jumping on your chest.

In AHII if they tried to duplicate the blast potential of the WWII version, a hit just feet away from a Panzer or M4 would
probably send you flipping thru the air before you ended up back in the tower.

Very cool!

Probably not so much for the town folk.

I wonder if that counts as an "act of war" allowing insurance companies to deny the building owner's claims.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

these detonation dont show you the size of a real detonation.
this detonation was made by a smal cut detonation. so the bomb detonate much slower as normal. sonds strange and hard to explain with my bad english hope you understand.

these bombs are al arond here. about 3 were next to my old home and if you want to made some hols in the erth more tan 60cm deep you need to ask the town deepartment and thay will chack old air photos.
