I have the priviledge of living just a couple of miles from Luke AFB in Phoenix Arizona.  Every weekday at about 6pm, I step outside my front door as the F16's return from their training sorties.  They go right over me, I'm in their RTB pattern and I'm exactly at the point they deploy the first notch of flaps.  It never gets old.

Similar experience here south of Fort Worth, Texas.  Our neighborhood was right under the approach to Carswell AFB.  Before the 90s it was mostly B52s in and out in and out.  But since then it's been a wonderful mix.  I used to sit on my tailgate with my kids and watch formations fly over.  So cool.

But never saw anything as cool as these Spits making runs.  So awesome!~   Thanks for sharing  :cheers:
