Butcher Bird Mafia
« on: September 24, 2012, 11:29:47 AM »
I am thinking of a very casual group of 190 enthusiast, not a squadron though. Maybe we meet one night a week, pick a version of the 190 (I like the A5), up as a gaggle and go terrorize something. I fly Rooks, open to a temporary switch for one night a week 'Butcher Bird Mafia' run.

Any takers?

Why not just build a squad of 190 enthusiasts?
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

I like the 190 (D for me) and think this belongs in the General Forum to get more action. I fly Rook also. We should link up on Tuesday Nights as I'm usally on 8-11 est.

The a-5 is a good turn fighter and I've been outclassed in my D against it. For speed and porkability the D is better. I also like chasing down those Ponys in the D.

I'm in for sure.  Pick a night and post the time, I bet you get more participants than you think.  Also, if anyone is interested I have the pdf version of Osprey's 190 Aces of Europe, and I can email it.  It's a great read to get you in the mood for the Butcher bird.
