China's First Carrier Entered Service This Week
« on: September 27, 2012, 05:37:00 PM »
Interesting to me how quickly they are going ahead with this after having just recently completing trials and still lacking a single carrier-based aircraft in their inventory....

Hey UK and France China has a bigger one then you!

Well I guess you can say they are rushing it out as a status symbol, but are they working on a aircraft to put on her or looking to buy something overseas.

That's gonna make a great artificial reef.  Just think of all the fish that could live in that thing.
They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

Cool it has a ramp, so if you have to force a wave off, the pilot can clip the rear of the aircraft and go cartwheeling into the ocean ahead.

-sighs- still cant get that steam catapult thing running eh russia and china?

Advanced indeed.  :lol

COOL, you guys bought a old 1980's USED carrier and refurbished it to 1990's standards...but wait..you have NO carrier based aircraft. And this is your "status" as a rising super power. Meanwhile the united states has 11 active carriers roaming the entire globe right now, each with subs, cruisers and a entire fleet of support ships. Oh..and we have jets to launch too.

Okay, who let the special kids into the water park? :|

Half Brother was on the Abraham Lincoln. Said it has scary firepower. They cycled a good about of nukes on and off her as well. And this was less than 5 years ago. What are they doing with nukes in the Persian Gulf? Feeling froggy Iran? Go ahead and jump.   :neener:
