Do I believe Europe would lose against the US in a war....yes...You brought that up somehow by reading my post.

At sea the US would win easy. However, neither the US or EU could hope to successfully invade the opposition; that's just silly.

We carry the big stick.

Today the "big stick" has a radioactive warning sticker on it, and China has a few big chopsticks of their own.

I think that the USA needs its big stick

America isn't safe without all that firepower. If America didn't have its military, it would neither have any moral or political authority. America is at this present time, the most corrupt, the most bankrupt, the most arrogant and indeed the most politically unstable. Of all developed nations.

The American people, and the American military, are by far the best in the world, in terms of firepower and indeed attitude. However their leaders and policies, are so misguided and greedy, that the democracy and freedom that is so valuable to them, has been whittled down and all but destroyed.

I have no hatred of the USA, just those in charge of it, I have a great faith and love for the ORIGINAL ideals (bar slavery and religious repression) of the United States Constitution. My best friend described me as, Australian born, English upbringing, and an American attitude. Thats something Im proud of.

China and the US will never go to war, if they did, neither nation would win, they would both fall into economic and military ruin. So many people would die and nothing would be gained. The US may win militarily, but to totally defeat China, the US would have to launch an invasion, an operation which, no matter how strong the US military is, would be impossible.

Im not under any delusions. The US, due to its economic situation, is liable to lose the next major war it fights.

Here's my question, why don't they "end" us and become the strongest power in the world.
Simple answer, w/o us, china wouldn't be the world power, well probally so but not as "rich" n powerful as they are now.. Off the top of my head, I'm guessing the United States account for 40% if not 60% of all Chinese exports. W/O the USA, the Chinese economy would collapse on itself. It would recover, but at a significant loss. N economically, China is the world power n in these days, being the economic world power gives you the most persuasion. big stick or not, these days, its more about the fat wallet.

The GFC will invade China next week, well after last orders in the Crown and Cushion public house. :old:

Will people stopped talking gibberish about China and invading this and that its silly and stupid.

Investment banks in the US have Trillions of dollars invested in the Chinese economy, the Chinese are doing the jobs the US worker used to do.

Your all being played, its those people who live at the center of the earth who are to blame, apparently Kris Kristoffison is one them as well as our Queen :old:

Since nobody really got what my end the US comment was about, here to clarify:

The largest foreign holder of U.S. debt is China, which owns more about $1.2 trillion in bills, notes and bonds, according to the Treasury.

If China decided to dump these assets the US currency would basically default and I hope I don't have to explain to you what that means.
