New Vette is how much?

A $90k porsche 911 is a better deal than a $35k vette anywhere in the world where the street cred for having an American V8 isn't a deciding factor.

Five times the engineering, five times the longevity, and 20 times the style and spirit.

Vette = mullet on wheels.

 hhmm....911.....cockroach on wheels, hard crappy ride, not significantly better than a vette......

.. just not interested.. already owned a bug convertible ..useda chase dirt bikes out in the boonies with it.
Sure .. it's fun .. but .. then I got a real car when I graduated High School.
A 67 Hemi GTX .. spoiled me for life.

Ford ..ya ..first on race day ..first to break, first back on the trailer, first to go home ..all that
Owned two .. fool me once ..etc. Never will own another.

As for the Ford GT ..(tilts head a little sideways) ..you do know there are add on's for Vette's also?
Only Ford GT I have seen in person was being ratcheted up onto the back of a tow truck under a bridge on I-17.

I wasn't a big Vette fan either all the years I was growin up.
My hot rods were always faster. Lost count of the numbers I useda embarrass.
In all my years of racing I only got beat once by a Vette. ..nice lil '67 roadster ..had 12" slicks and a Dana in the back with a fairly radical 427 in front of it.
He got my Hemi GTX by 2 cars.
Also got beat once by a Pontiac Judge.
Ya .. a big boat Pontiac.
He had a blown 454 in it and enough tire under the back to hook it.
He got my 440 Duster by a fender.

That dealer's banking on making the money back with the new model Vette.  The more you sell, the more GM will allocate for your dealership to be given.  I imagine that he'll make the money back two-fold. 

As it stands, I believe you have to average 4 new Vette sales per year to be allocated one of the new models.  Alot of Chevy stores don't sell many (if any) Vettes in any given year.  I know my dealership may only get one (if we're lucky).

He's setting himself up for some big sales when the C7 is on the ground.  Smart play.

 i likes my fords....but MAN do they do some stupid stuff. 

the 2.7L and the 5.4 3v don't hold a candle to the pure crappyness that is in the 02-06 altima/sentra with 2.5L's!!

I would never own anything that had one of any of the above 3 engines in it... and if you have one, you need to sell it fast!!
