bino is correct. JG 5 is that squad that pisses us Lufties off because of the timing and essential apathy towards RLM standards. Devil can attest to that.

Although what you say is mostly accurate there is one thing to consider. What is in Norway? Of all the fronts and stations of the Luftwaffe, Norway was the most obsolete. "The Forgotten".

That is true. I hadn't thought of that.

That is one of the reasons JG-5 is so great. My second favorite Jagdgeschwader.

   Report in,  Launch on time,  Fly high and fast, Find red and put many holes in it, Make it crash, THEN let God sort out good and bad from the burning wreckage.
