Will all these parts succesfully fit together?

Hi there,

I actually decided to build my own PC, but there is a small problem. This is my first time doing it, because i usually prefer buying a PC that is ready to use. Why did i want to build up my PC? Well, because it's a lot cheaper. But let's get back to that problem i was talking about. I picked all my parts, but i don't know if they are going to fit together. Here they are:


Case:
Antec Nine Hundred - Midi tower -noPSU. (I can see this one has 3 coolers built-in. So do i need to buy a special cable for that or something?)


Motherboard:
ASUS P8H77-M PRO - Socket 1155 - ATX (I see no problems in this one actually. Everything should fit well, but i am posting it to be sure)


RAM:
Corsair 4x4GB DDR3, 1600Mhz, 240pin DIMM


Video:
ASUS GeForce GTX670-DC2-2GD5 - 2GB - PCI-E


CPU:
Intel Core i7 3770K 3.5GHz 8MB LGA1155


HDD:
WD 1TB 3.5" SATA-600 IntelliPower 64MB


Power Supply:
CoolerMaster Silent Pro M II - 720 Watt - ATX (don't really know if that one would fit in the case)





These are all the parts i am going to buy, but only if they will all just fit together and make the whole PC work. Please tell me if i'm missing something like Cables, parts etc. It would be very appreciated.

The 900 is an older case...I'd look for something a bit more modern. Good case but there are nicer ones out there now.

In researching my build on another thread, I found pcpartpicker.com on the net.  You put each part in and they let you know of any compatibilitiy issues you might have as well as look at the best price of the various merchants.  I have no idea how good their information is, but they did point out the case I'm looking at does not support USB 3.0 which my motherboard does.  Maybe some of the more experienced here can tell us if that site is reliable.  I would also say look at dimensions of the case, if that is important.  My computer sits under a desk with a drawer on the side the computer sits.  Some of the cases wouldn't fit under the drawer, even though they are advertised as "mid tower."  Measure twice, buy once (in this instance).  Or, get a new desk if the case is more important.

120 Euros = roughly $150?     Get the NZXT Tempest or Phantom.

I've used nothing but NZXT cases in all of my builds...good stuff.

Dhause ... what is the measurements you need to fit it in??

  Width isn't an issue, but there are only 20 inches from floor to bottom of drawer.  Some of those cases are 22 inches high.

I would not put a computer inside an enclosed compartment like in a desk.  they put out so much heat that they will quickly overheat.  it needs to go on the side or under the desk.

Just for fun I went on pcpartpicker.com & set up the components that I picked that are in my current box to see what it had to say about it.

This consists of case, CPU, mobo, mem, CPU cooler, 2 SSD's, optical drive, PSU, vid card, OS (primary (really only) purpose is to play flight sims games). Already had monitor, keyboard & trackball.

Site gave me a clean bill of health (compatibility-wise) except for the front USB headers on my CM Storm Scout case (mobo has a USB 3.0 header, front case USB headers are USB 2.+ series).

Made me feel good......................... ..

Great!   Got the same report.  About my case: it sits on the floor under the desk, but there is a small drawer that slides under the desk top on one side. The case is not in an enclosed compartment.  It is wide open under there (except for the drawer) and in the coolest room of the house.  I can just pull the drawer if it is a problem.

I wouldn't worry about it myself, Dhaus.

My box is setting in a desk w/ a slot designed for a mid-tower that is enclosed in the back, has 2 sides, a deck that it sits on & a drawer over part of it but the front is open to room air.

I have absolutely no cooling issues w/ this new box of mine in this slot.......yours has far more open area available than my desk does & the new tech is far better in power usage/management so I wouldn't sweat it.
