No, I would expect them to defend themselves in other ways than turning in at ramming speed every single time. It's one thing if you do it to merge in the vertical or to avoid giving me an easy shot, its a completely different thing when you point directly at my diving plane and hold the trigger from 800 out until i pass you, multiple times. There are other tactics you can use in that situation that don't include an immelmann directly proceeded by a HO. Plus that was only an example scenario. My point is people that feel the only way they can get a kill is to consistently HO get no respect from me.

Well said.

So you're saying that you are allowed to dive in on a plane and point your nose at it but the person you are diving in on is not allowed to do the same?

Since you are diving in, you are the one controlling the terms of the fight.

Find a way behind your opponent or set up a high deflection passing shot.

I respect all that don't act like an bellybutton in the game nor make excuses every time they get shot down.

I don't mind fighting the V Devils Brigade (when they ran their big misisons in LW).  I learned a lot from that.

I respect the guys that try to get a mission moving or posted.

I respect the CMs and planners for the special events (all of the ones they do) as well as the aces high trainer corps.

And if you start posting crazy nonsense on channel 200 or all channel and I don't respond, you probably don't have my respect or I have detuned the channels so I don't get caught up in the chat drama.  It never really does any good...

Much mad respect for all I play with and against though.  Love the game and the peeps in it!!!

No, thats NOT what I'm saying and you either are apparently not reading my posts in full or you dont understand what I'm explaining to you (or you do and are trying to defend your "tactics") so I'm going to stop right here.

I have respect for everyone, I salute those I shoot down, and the more who shoot me down. I try to be respectful to everyone. I got in a good fight with RedBull and some fella the other day can't remember they were in K-4s I was in my 51. I shot down the other fella but couldn't shake Red at all, he got me after a rolling scissors fight. We saluted each other and went back to fight each other again  :D

Someone hit puberty.... anywho.

In a forum where everyone is entitled to sharing an opinion, developing/maturing your own can be a headache.

I would say, if you pay for your account you can play any way you want.
If someone complains about it they probably have problems with their own
way of playing. When I complain its mostly because I feel humiliated by
someone that is a better pilot than me.

This is me, right here.  I am not good, and I am playing a game where the average level of skill (regardless of what the ivory tower elite say) is amazingly high.  I would wager that less than 1% of all online gamers could successfully take off and land in Aces High.

But I have fun, I am getting better (painfully slowly), and honestly - aside from the forum gangs and the wishlist wardens, this is a DAMNED fine community.

But... now and then... on 200...
