Primary & Secondary Convergance

When in the hanger setting up convergance, is there a pattern to which gun is primary and which is secondary. For example:
   Inside guns = primary: Outside = Secondary
   or by the convergance coloring?

If you have cannons and machine guns then the cannons are primary. I haven't noticed if there is a consistant color code or inside/outside pattern with multiple machine guns.

The inner set of guns are generally the primaries except when cannon and machine guns are mixed, then the machine guns are primary.

I beleive the "green" line is the convergence tied to your gunsight. But, when you pull all of the lines to the same distance they all center on the IP for the green line.
