I have seen a supposed project for years on David Braben's company page, but nothing else.

If they do, I will buy it.  I am interested in Chris Robert's new effort, Star Citizen, as well, but his stuff was always a lot more limited in scope than Elite was.

Yeah epic. I bought this game when it first came out and played it on our BBC Model B. I also played Oolite a bit a few years back but it didn't seem the same. A new MMOG Elite could be fantastic
