Thats such a beautiful aircraft. Also, extremely hard to fly. I have all the respect towards those who turnfight in it - mostly the 80th and the 39th guys.

That's an easy one to answer...it took more skill than he had to fly.  Why else would he give up on it, switch his name to Cree and go back to Spitfires?  It forced him to face the truth that without training wheels he's just a target drone.
