A friend of mine got PNGed, which was most inconvenient since I was in the middle of a conversation with him and do not have his email address. When I checked his status, it said 'last online' only a few days ago, and he was PNGed about three weeks ago.

How come?

It probably refreshes every time they log in, even if it's just to see the "you've got ban!" screen.

Please pardon my ignorance but what does PNG stand for?  I have deduced that it means being banned from the boards.....  just unsure of the acronym specifically.
