The players can easily control the "wayyyy too many" complaint. All that is needed is for the little generals to split up their attacks. Hit two, three bases at once. As icepac said there were a lot of bases with out cons over them. If the attacks are spread out so will the defenders. This will make a bunch of smaller fights instead of these huge hordes we had last night.

Darned it already...clearly I missed "DA night in the MA minus F3"  Lots of planes in cramped quarters = much action and not-so-far-to-fly to shoot at something.

I approve of small maps...

The scorehogs get trampled on small maps...not enough room to climb and too many players to run, lol :rofl :aok

don't try to match up reality with AH BBS posts, they generally don't go well together

Clearly a poor attempt at a troll, because you are obviously clueless about how I fly and how high I go.

Take the bee out your bonnet and fly, I'm sorry I have shot you down in the past.

I don't mind negative comments but atleast have some accuracy.

 :salute

LOL...did my post touch your nono spot.

If I unfairly mis characterized your post by stating the obvious then sir, I apologize.

Exactly what is your point?

Why is a crowded map a bad thing?
Is it better to have a huge map so the hord can attack un challenged?
You cant hide your cv's off the map?
You cant get buffs to 30k before they are jumped?
You cant use ords to totally sack every hanger and kill every furball?
YOu cant get any GV's moving from spawn cause the get blown to hell by airplanes?
You cant take off and go afk to take a crap and still get back in time to one pass and haul arse?
Your mission get bounced before it can assemble and drop 50,000 pounds of ords?

Your post smells of "I cant do this and that" because there are too many ENEMY around.

or mabey you can't get any kills because there are too many green guys around?

If your going to post a whine at least make it one that makes sense.

PS - everybody has shot me down at least 100 times...that has nothing to do with your post and neither does my bonnet...im quite fond of it so I will stick a bee in anytime I want....now go chase the ice creme truck and sing "I dont get no ice creme cause my daddies on the welfare" and whine some more.

I await your kind reply.

No.

Large maps with few people are not good for "scoreboys" with the notable exception of bomber modes or (to some extend) vehicle base captures. Playing offpeak on a map like ozkansas can really mess up your fighter score.
And excessive climbing and running away in fighters or attackers is actually bad for score as well.

Umm, see, ok.

small maps compress areas creating crowding which, in turn, creates fighting if you are in to that part of the game.  Larger maps allow people to utilize George Bush's strateegery by giving them the room to avail themselves with the options of running/astronaut training/joining on a horde vulchfest/or generally providing reasons to show their testicularly challenged...I do like your reasons though.

You need enemy opposition to create a vulchfest. When there are 2 defenders spread over 20 bases, that's great to roll the map... but that's about it. K/H, K/S, Kill points and such are going down the drain.

All other things being equal, you can quite well tell from my fighter score if i mostly played at my own prime time (=AH offpeak), or if I did stay up until late night to play at US prime time during a given tour  :old:

Your clearly in an argumentative mood, which is obvious because you are accusing me of hiding CVs and going to 30k; the former I have never done or agreed to, and the latter is a rare event outside of a Me163.
Less of the none truths and half truths.
Your apology isn't sincere and I snub it.
Just pointing out that the arena was cramped on the small maps.

On a side note, my father has not been seen since 1992.
