Inteitllional kill in FSO
« on: December 14, 2012, 10:53:26 PM »
Bottom line unless this is fixed there is no reason to fly FSO. 1K below the bombers after killing a ki 61 600yrd away. A bomber gunner took direct aim at me and pulled the trigger.
:bhead Unless this person is punished there may or may not be reprisals in future FSO's. This may infact be the end of FSO. I will never fly near a bomber I don't entend to kill ever again. Flying for 50 min is no fun to have ended because someone is bored and decides to have some fun at aonthers expense.

Yes I can spell, just not when angry. I am sure nothing will ever be done about this, but look out in the near future whomever pulled the trigger. There may be more unfortunate accidents that follow.

Perhaps you should deal with this the proper way, like a man instead of a child. It will not be the end of FSO, just perhaps the end of FSO for you since you are threatening to kill friendlies in the future.

Used to fly as Halo46, GRHalo, Hobo and Punk at the end.

If u have film please let me know. I will look at it. That said sometimes it might seem intentional when its not. Send the clip to glbold@telus.net if u have it. Not the whole mission, just the incident in Q. Thx.

Yes. Cooler heads may prevail. I don't have film and dont expect too. I was D600-1k and breaking away. I'm sure it was on purpose, and suspect Wiley, based on the time stamp of logs, but its not conlucisve as he could have hit the Ki as it went through the formation. There isn't anyway short of a film surfacing to prove it.

It sucks waiting to fly all week then 50min get wacked (on purpose) by a moron.

Valkyrie, what is your in-game name? I don't see "Valkyrie" anywhere in the logs.

Yes it should have been handled privately. But I was pissed. No reason a buff should be shooting at a ki Missing a wing diving away in a death spiral and hit me instead climbing up 30-45 nose away from the doomed aircraft. Nosey followed me all the way in and no one was around me.

Its pretty intense in a rear gunner position under attack by a lot of fighters. I really feel its likely a case of jittery gunners blazing away rather than anything deliberate? It does suck to be hit...I get that. Without film I can't do anything in a case like this unless it was a really clear case like multiple witnesses saying somebody got strafed on the runway by a friendly a/c or something really obvious. A buff formation under attack with escorts there as well is a dogs breakfast to sort out.

The kiddie pool has lifeguards.

FSO does not.

Morons everywhere in life...give em a cartoon gun...look out.

Go on range vox and let folks know you are attacking/ clear - nmy down/etc...

Cartoon bullits hurt.  Don't get hit.

The problem was we were in front. I get the accident if we were behind. with buffs firing to the rear. But I was in front and the only person who had a clean shot was a buff. I was climbing and gave a buff a great profile view. Its very hard not to judge that being done onpurpose. No other bad guys were in the area. Like I said there won't be a way to prove it without film, and I don't have it or antipate having it. In all the years of FSO this has never happened to me. Sure someone get a tail shot or a buff gets a hit as you follow a fighter in. But on the way out with better than 600 -1k separation. Very hard to believe.

In fact if we can delete the thread that might not be a bad idea, as the alligations can't be proven.

Friendly fire incidents happen. It really sux but they happen. They happened in real life, and they happen in FSO. Just Be glad this is FSO, in RL you wouldn't get the opportunity to whine about it.

I really doubt it was intentional the guy just wanted to get a kill just like everyone else that's out there. He probably never even saw you.

The real problem here is you throwing the f bomb out over range, and I do have that on film.
Next time why don't you act like an adult and except what happened like an adult. After looking at the logs I can't even see a friendly getting an assist on you let alone a kill.

I have lost so much respect for so many people through this I have lost count. Why don't you go report that vox chat and get my vox muted for a month or my subscription canceled because tonight I don't really care. I hope you got the good ones too because I was really pissed at that moment. You know I think I got 13 or 14 of them. Depends on if you got the squad channel too. Maybe if we keep bleeding members on FSO nights you might get HiTech to release the AI airplanes for you to play with.
