Ok first major mod I want to make, headlights. The current ones seem kinda dim to me, so I have 200 dollars and would prefer halos but would go for anything nice looking and effective. (The whole headlight not just the bulb.)

its my humble opinion to just buy brighter bulbs from autozone or something. Don't waste your time with Halo light.

Well one of the headlights has condensation in it so I need to take it out anyways. And with the amount of work it takes to get the headlight out I might as well upgrade them.

I would suggest buying a headlight cleaning kit and doing it yourself, plus getting some top end bulbs from an auto store.

ferget that stuff. it'll draw attention of police, whether or not you're doing somethign wrong. or it'll help draw attention of thieves who will wait for the right time and steal that car that you've worked so dam hard for.

there's a bulb called silverlight i think....check pep boys. they're simply replacement bulbs burning a slightly higher wattage, and the difference is day and night. pun intended.

Are they by GE? My dad mentioned something by GE that puts out 140% more light by using more wattage.

I dont think Ill get the fancy HALOs but it was a nice thought. I researched them a bit more and its just a bit more money than I want to spend. OEM headlight kits arent much better though.

9006 is the basic part number for the bulbs your honda uses. silverstar is what i was thinking of earlier. you can find that exact thing in the link at pep boys, autozone, or advanced auto parts i think.

i installed the silverstar headlights in my 89 wrangler. it literally made it a thousand times easier to drive that thing at night.

My friend has a 03 mustang v6 and asked me to put his Halo lights in for him (considering I put his sub woofers in) and I nearly lost my mind trying to wire those up. The directions were just awful and I had to run to a parts shop for half of the tools needed to get the things in.

CC, thanks a lot CAP.

I think Ill save myself the trouble of taking off the bumper and as Joachim pointed out scratching my head about wiring.

I just looked and to just change the bulbs all I have to do take out the battery and pop out the old ones.
BTW Amazon is the cheapest and I can get free two day shipping. (And do the high beams at the same time for another 30.)
