It already does this, search for triple screen on the BBS
How would that work? Would all the screens rotate position when you changed your front view's direction or would your "side" view screens continue to just display the side views? The first might be OK, the second would not be ok.
It would likely work just like it does in MSFS. You can see it in youtube simpit videos. If you build a cockpit to sit in you want to turn your head to see different views you don't want to look over your nose at the tail. It would also allow a small monitor to function as a rear view mirror. It's been requested before and I believe there are reasons HTC doesn't want to go that route.
That would require 17+ monitors arranged in a dome around you, so I am skeptical to put it mildly.
Well I know I can't see wing tip to wing tip on my single monitor, but the screen shots of triple screens certainly show it. You see out front in the center monitor, left front in the left monitor, and right front in the right monitor.
They aren't generated as separate views. There is one view centered on your viewing direction.
It would be rather cheating to have one view fixed showing your six o'clock while you had other views you could move around.
