Airstart and .hurtme in TA
« on: January 20, 2013, 05:32:04 PM »
Airstart in TA is something I really would like to have , to test planes at different altitudes without the climb necessary.

Also .hurtme xxxx, where the xxxx is part you like to have damaged.
This is  for crippling my aircraft to test performance, survivability with selected things shot off.
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

There are also several high alt bases to takeoff from in the bombing zone and dogfighting zone.  If you look carefully at the map you will see where the airstarts are located.

Can you set the airstart to start at xxxxx feet, to test it without climbing from a certain airstart point ?
I was not more specific in my wish, I apologize for that.

Some planes are PITA's when it come to climb, to test a FW A-series at 30k you need more patience than I have, also scenarios tend to be "up there" so its valid to test out manoeuvres up there.

Bset you get in TA is taking off from a 30k base with limited planeset or going to the 20k base and selecting the proper "spawn runway" direction to get airstart.

I agree with you Save,it would be nice to set the airspawn alt. Atleast you can start at 20k so the climb to 30 wont be that long. Being able to select damage and enable it would be of limited help but I can see it serving a purpose so I think both ideas have merit.
