The Davis Hill weather Stick
« on: January 23, 2013, 07:01:50 PM »
Had a friend come by about a month ago and give me this little stick about two feet long . I said : What in the world is this for : He said to hang it on the wall outside but out of the rain and it would tell the weather . I was like yeah right . So after he left I nailed it up on the wall like the direction said and started watching it or looked at it once every other day . Believe it or not but this thing works . When the weather is dry it points strait out and when it's getting ready to rain it will curl down . Like a few day's before . Never seen anything like it in my life . What about you guy's . Ever seen one ?

Yeah I've seen one. But mine is exactly the opposite. During a dry spell it points straight down and when it's fixin; to get wet it pokes straight out.

Actually Flench I haven't heard of such a thing. But it sounds cool. reminds me of water witching (2 sticks to find water). I know for a fact that works.

I'll have to Goggle this weather stick and look into it. I like stuff like that.

My grandfather can water witch. His only child, a daughter (and my mother) couldn't do it. I discovered that I can do it, but my 5 siblings can't do it. It's really weird how it randomly picks and chooses.

My grandfather could do it . He could even find water lines with it but me or my father never could .
