It's funny that the best sticks you run across seem to be so much smoother than you are.   :headscratch:

When I die to one of those guys, usually in two or three turns, I think to myself, "Ahh haa... I'm not being smooth enough!"  :old:

Then I proceed to smoothing my way to the tower again because I was being a passive ninny who hardly moved the stick.   :(

This is the state of confusion in which I live.   :frown:

True enough.  But then film reveals dude dumped more E than I thought, turned inside of me on the second merge and the rest was just me flopping like a fish.

I think the smoothness with which some fly really hides their E state well.  I'm not the best judge of E anyway, but when it comes to some, I may as well just be pulling a number out of a hat.

He could be using rudder or throttle control.

And yet, I cannot observe these things on film.

If im not mistaken you can see the throttle work from their point of view of their own film.  Watch the gauges.

I wouldnt call you violent and I wouldn't call you patient either.  I would call you aggressive.  Take Sunsfan.  I would call him surgical...very very patient and very very good at judging his opponents E and managing his while watching theirs.

It's all relative.  Smoother than sandpaper is still smoother than something.   :D

From the few fights we've had (as brief as they were), I'd say you're much smoother in your imputs than the average guy.  At least it looked that way to me.

I'm so glad I'm not most poepl.   :aok  :bolt:
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

I don't know who are the best fighter. It could not be fair for all the best sticks. For exemple, Let's think that I've never ever fought a Rook yet, so maybe some "best fighters" could be there. There are several reasons not to mention the best fighter, as "fighting" has a lot of corners.

Anyway, the ones that truly always leave awesome impression on me are:

Greebo: because he can manage a not uber plane in the most difficult situations in a very successful way. In the situations he puts himself, he always dies (if he does) from a cheap kill.....He's never complained as far as I know So, He has both aptitude an attitude.

Latrobe: Same as greebo

Shane: I've known him since AW days. He has been always so tough to beat....I can't even recal that I have shot him once for so long.....

Debrody: He knows how to fight every plane he wants up to "110%" of their capability.

I've had some foughts against other sticks who they really dazzled me. But I'm not going to mention them because I just came across them maybe once or twice
