Historical achievements suggestions

I'm looking for some suggestions for more historical achievements.  By now you've seen what those are like but I'm needing to come up with some more historical feats to serve as a basis for an achievement.  They could be most kills in a type either by sortie, career, or in a day.  They could be most kills of a type or even something completely different.  These require some research as a lot of them will be pretty esoteric, e.g. who has the most kills in a Ki-61. I don't want a bunch of redundant ones though.

If you have a suggestion for one of these, post it here along with your reference.  A lot of these feats may be iffy with regards to actual numbers, especially after being dissected by historians, but that's ok.

I thought of an achievement (if you can call it that) where a player survives a ram from another player, and the other aircraft is downed from the collision. There are many examples of this historically, are you looking for a pilot's name or a situation? In this case, the name of a famous plane, EZ Goin', would be my suggestion.

George "Buzz" Buerling,  shoot down 27 Axis aircraft in just 14 days over Malta.

for the purpose of the achievement make it 27 Spit V kills in a day.   "Knight of Malta"

The South African ace Marmaduke Pattle was the highest scoring ace in both the Hurricane and in the Gladiator, over the desert and Greece during 1940-41. Various sources list his kill tally from 40-60, the problem being many RAF records were destroyed in the evacuation of Greece. However a total of 50 kills, 15 on Gladiators and 35 on Hurricanes is widely quoted. So how about a "Score 35 kills in a Hurricane" achievement for Pattle?

Would it be possible to tie the planes selected skin into the achievement?

i.e, by using a RAAF skin, the plane type will count towards a different achievement.

Then you could give achievements for a specific pilots career. So if a pilot flew P39s/P40s in the pacific theater and shot down 23 planes then 1 skin on each plane would add to that total, but both planes must have more then 20% of that total etc.

Tying achievements to skins might be a big headache for HTC. A table of skins/forces/theaters would have to be created for the 100s of skins already in the game and updated every time new skins were introduced.

Land 213 sorties in a Mosquito Mk XVI - Mosquito B.Mk IX F for Freddie, serial LR503, flown by Flt. Lt. Maurice Briggs, DSO, DFC, DFM and navigator Fl. Off. John Baker, DFC and Bar, among others, survived 213 sorties, more than any other bomber.  Suggested achievement name "F for Freddie"

Land 207 sorties in a B-26B - Flak Bait, a B-26, survived 207 sorties, more than any other American bomber.  Suggested achievement name "Flak Bait"

5 kills in one sortie in a Mosquito Mk VI - Sqdn Ldr Charles Scherf DSO, DFC & Bar.   Suggested achievement name "Last Trip" as that became Scherf's nickname due to his habit of flying operations with his old squadron on his holidays after he was assigned to a desk job.  It was on one of his holiday trips that he downed five in one sortie.

A question, is it possible to key the landing requirement to also requiring damage to have been done to the enemy?

While it is simple to do these kills are often claimed to be the last air to air kills of the war for the Germans.

I'll take a whack at a couple aimed in theme at the AVG.

Get 3 Kills against Japanesse aircraft in a P-40.  Order of the Cloud and Banner  (33 AVG pilots were awarded this by the Republic of China.)
Get 13 kills against Japanesse aircraft in a P-40.  Robert Neale (top ace with the AVG)
Get 5 kills in one sortie while flying a P-40.  (Revision of the current/double Clive Caldwell achievement) Paper-wrapped Tiger / From Santa, To Hedman / Robert Hedman (Robert Hedman became an "ace in a day" with the AVG while piloting a P-40 on Christmas day, 1941)
