Whats the big deal, he's gaming the game just like EVERYONE does, from the A20 going from 7k to 11k with no E, to the all of us who flop around at 25ft with con on our 6, to the  180 magic turns in mid air, do 90% of what we all do in this game in r/l it's body bag time. Perk points, achievements should not cross over form EW, MW or LW. Like I said he's gaming the game....who cares WE all do it

Limiting perks to the arena the perks were earned in would eliminate 99% of this problem, since most do it to earn perks to spend in the LW arena.

The last person I remember shooting his own shade to improve his score was Alpini13.  HTC for whatever reason let him keep playing although with some punishment I was told.  The fact is, if you have to game the game using an unfair advantage (something that other players cannot, or because they have some ethics, will not do) then chances are you will be found out and reported.  Most of us on here don't have to resort to such lowlife tactics as cheating in a game to prove something...most of us do that every day in our real lives, and we come here to have fun, relax and enjoy the camaraderie of the other players.  If you cheat and I see it, I will report you.  I have done it before, and i will do it again.

I feel the punishment should be: the offender must fly a PINK trainer for one tour, trainer aircraft to be picked by HTC staff, if said offender does not comply then offender is banned from further flight.

Although it is crooked and not Kosher, vulching ones own shade or a friend for perk points is technically not cheating.  They are gaming the game, sure. They are not going into the program and breaking code, they are not using aim-bots.  It is all too easy to identify these guys when they vulch their friend / shade.  It amounts to us policing our own.  HTC will do what ever he does to people who act like this.  His solution is just.  Now the players who got caught have to live with the consequences of their actions. 

I agree with HTC, shade vulching is not worthy of a life time ban, but definitely worthy of a slap on the wrist.

I think he should be stripped of his worldly possessions, his Facebook page must say "giant weiner" for occupation, his relationship status should say "eunuck" , and his hometown should be listed as "Dooooshville". INSERT GIANT SMILEYFACE HERE
