Eggs for my 262
« on: April 15, 2013, 04:28:26 AM »
I'm aware that the a1 and a2 were different in terms of arment and armour but I want a bomb ladden 262. Pretty sure it meets all the criteria for being added and it's a German plane :D

Sure, as long as the accuracy problems were added as well.

To be clear, you aren't asking for bombs on the existing Me262, you're asking for an additional variant of the Me262.

Correct. I know it's a long shot and historically they were horrendous fighter bombers but now there can be a a truly effective all jet mission.

Me262s escorting Ar234's isn't effective?

Let me restate that yes they are but with the heavy 262's they can continue to attack as not everyone knows how to with the arados rear guns

I can only imagine that Me262s would have a pretty easy time picking off piston engined fighters that were trying to intercept Ar234s.  I don't think the Ar234s would have much need of their tail guns.

I said not everyone. I've been killed in a 262 by those rear guns. Some peeps really know how to make figher jocks look like fools.
