Advice needed on a laptop please...

I've been a way for a long while and seriously considering a return.  My job requires me to travel about 90% of the time so I'm considering a laptop that will serve as a dual purpose pc.  Here are the specs, and I realize the HD will need to be upgraded, or a second added, but my question is how well would this laptop work with AH? Is anyone else using Asus and the ROG series, and how do you like them?

Can't tell how well it would suit your other needs, but AFAIK that should run AH quite well for several years with most of the settings maxxed, some most probably disabled. On the disable list I believe there'd be Environment Map and Object Self Shadow, which many of us seem to disable anyway because of disliking them. Just make sure your air intakes are clean for longevity, additional bumpers in the bottom for extra spacing might help.

I had similar specs laptop but with GT 630M graphics card and it could run AH almost maxed out and that was output to 24" display. Don't think you should have any trouble at all on the above specifications.
