X-Ray Vision and Lancasters.
« on: May 04, 2013, 03:45:48 PM »
Last night I was in an 88 on full zoom watching a valley GV approach to my airfield when a box of lancasters spawned in front of me. At first I didn't know what it was but, I was intrigued by the fact I was looking at 1000lb bombs sitting inside of what I was looking at. When I toggled back to normal view, I watched all three lancasters roll by me and I could see all of the bombs in each bomber's Bombay through the side of the fuselage.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

Something similar happened to me in b-24s.  From the nosegunner position I could look back and see the yokes and pilot seats over the doors, as well as the inside of the drones.  That was today around 8:45 a.m. Edt.
