so pathetic that it's actually kind of cute ;]

star chasers don't make any sense to me personally, but I do understand the extra value and enjoyment that a lot of people seem to get from Achievement systems in games, so I won't knock HTC for adding it
Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.

Do you expect anything less from a guy that has 100 game hours in 7 days time? Thats 14 hours a day.

In his defense, half that time was probably spent doing something else while he let a macro run.

LOL, macroing in Aces High.  Thought I'd never see the day.

I'd guess the use of macros in Aces High is about as Aces High itself  :old:

Was one of the first things I did in AH: Putting an .ef macro to a joystick button after being vulched on landing twice in a row ;)

I think that adding achievements was an easy short cut to make the game more interesting without actually improving the game in any way.

Add the achievements and abracadabra you've got something new. Pretty small investment on the coding side.

Achievements are for those who want a challenge in the game. For those who only want them for self grandiosement well then they get that too.

The OP only points out that some in the game do it only for the sake of having it...not for the reward of actually accomplishing something of difficulty. There is a difference between the two. HTC does not care for what reason only that the game becomes more interesting to those who currently play it. No issues there....beside whats wrong with that.

The Emperor(s) have no cloths on one and all.

You mass excoriate non iconoclastic players for vulching their own shade in the EW\MW. But, here you are bending over backwards to make reasonable excuses for simple "bad conduct". Benghazi was really about a YouTube video too. It just takes enough of you to tell everyone: Nothing to see here, move along, it's a non issue. We will tell you what to believe about Aces High and personal conduct because we can peer harass you and make light of your observations as a "Mob" until you give up and go away.

Bad conduct is bad conduct by the perpetrator or his enablers.

Some of you are fathers of small children. Is some bad conduct not bad conduct because you agree to suspend reality if a popular celebrity commits the bad conduct? Is this what you fathers are teaching your small children these days? Jonny it's ok that he ran over you, he's a celebrity and more special than us.

I guess Barry Bonds didn't notice how big and stronger he was getting over 9 months after being rubbed down with his trainers special lotion a few times a week. And The Governator Schwarzenegger was a victim of his house keeper's superior psychological manipulations.

I guess Fester is the first recipient of the Aces High "Barry Bonds" achievement then. Now that we know it exists. Lets see how fast the rest of you can earn it. Which of you can out bad conduct Fester?

Not to wander but what is a macro?

A macro is a sequence of instructions strung together into one command.

In this case, I'm gonna guess that Fester made a macro that looks something like this:

.fly
<enter>
<enter>
<enter>
.ef

He programmed that into a macro keyboard or mouse and then set it to repeat infinitely upon pressing the key.  A second press of the key would end the loop.
