Frame 2 <S> ALLIES
« on: June 15, 2013, 01:15:52 AM »
Good try ALLIED squads.  We were 10 pilot less than the AXIS side at the start and should have had a 10 pilot advantage by the side split and I know that affected several of the sectors.  So that's the same as one large 20 man squad missing at the start.

Good comm's and coordination in most areas.  Just not enough fighters to get the advantage.  At one point the AXIS had a 40 AC advantage but that rounded down nearer to the end of the frame.

Appreciate all of the leadership from the CO's in getting the jobs and task's done.

At H+65 I put what was left of the ALLIED squads on defense.  At H+90 I called it as we were down to about 20 AC and the AXIS had about 30.

Great planning Viper61.

We got into the one of the evac fleets and ran into more than we could handle.  I have to go do a count but I know we got at least 2 ships.

Was a fun mission.  <<S>> to the 327th and 334th.  Great working with you guys!

i got tunnelvision on a set of bombers. took one down, looped up n over to line up #2, and as i shot the poop outta him, a 190 tagged me as he overshot, then it looked like i had half the luftwaffe chasing me down low........with a pilot wound, so i was pretty much out of the game at that point.....twas fun though!

I would like to tip my hat to the Allied pilots in this FSO. You guys have a tough go this month fighting for the Russians.

That was alot of fun.  This was my first FSO, and first time flying the LA5.  I was really impressed by both.  The communication was great among those in my area, and you germans were flying at me from everywhere it seemed!

Glad you had fun Isolate, the first FSO is often nerve racking as there's so much going on.  Hope you stick with us :aok

I looked at the roster right at the start and the Axis where up by 16 pilots and most of them are quite skilled in the use of the hardware.  So I agree with HighTone that the Russians have a tough fight this month.

<S> Viper61 and the Allied pilots.

And Well Done Axis!  :salute

Oh Isolate, I am so sorry to learn of your recent addiction.  FSO will take you soaring to the heights of emotion and then send you crashing to the depths.  In my humble opinion there is no aspect of the game more challenging.  Some squads, mine for instance, practice during the week just for FSO.  You will fly planes that you have never flown before.  You will get caught up in the most intricate plans... And someday, in the future, It will be you writting the plans as CIC.  I betcha almost all these guys will be here to see that happen!  FSO is the best part of the game!  (As a CM, I may get in trouble for saying that but, as an FSO CM, the truth is a defense.)
