When the new trees and stuff were added, tank town was a hoppin place and it was very fun. Lots of hours spent on the island.

probably one of the favorite updates for me was when they re-modeled the horizontal stab damage independantly of each other. That and the hitbox update.

The best updates were the ones before I joined in.

I cringe at every major update. It usually means I have to go find some hard to find pieces of junk to be able to keep playing.

why would you want them to get rid of small maps :headscratch:

I cant stand the big maps...especially late at night when the fights are even harder to find.....

Today even peak times the big maps are just one big empty space other than for a couple sectors of horde vs horde action. Big maps were good when we had big numbers to support them and before the arena split.

Off peak (Aus/Euro Evenings) lucky to see more than 60 online, on a big map take away those in GV's and sitting in tower probably less than 20 actually in the air and hours can go by without a single con.

Its Tank Ace.  If it isn't German, preferably a GV, it isn't good to him.

No, its just the Russian equivalent of the 109G-10. The Yak-9U will have slightly better engine performance, but the -3 will turn better (and climb better, due to the lighter weight, IIRC).

Yak-9K? Great! LaGG-3? Absolutely. Yak-7? Now we can do proper midwar scenarios. IAR 80? Add it. G.55? Awesome. F4F-3? I don't fly them, but why not; IIRC they were more heavily used than the -4 for early war.

Your assertions that, because I personally would prefer a Panzer III or an ordnance update to the 190, I somehow hate everything else is patently untrue. In fact, I'd say I've been one of the bigger advocates of the IAR. 80 in particular. I also heavily argued for the M4's, and was pleased to see that HTC added the two models I had suggested.
