Friends New Toy: Aero L-39 Albatros Jet Trainer
« on: July 01, 2013, 01:10:29 AM »
Yes some people have all the fun, purchased it for himself last year and the plane has recently completed maintenance and he himself just completed aerobatics rating, though he can't fly it in formation, hence he is in the front and instructor piloting from back seat in this photo.

Nice, not sure about the paint scheme on the Aero though. I like the schemes on the Strikemaster and the Dragonfly. When I win the lotto, not if, when. I'll get myself a jet warbird like that and paint it in Irish Air Corps markings. At that point I'll have a more capable combat aircraft than the Air Corps.  :t   Just like in New Zealand now they've lost their jets.
