Crap boys I'm going to be a no-show. I went to the optometrist thinking about getting some prescription reading glasses.. Wrong! After an exam it turns out I need bi-focals.  :old:
Long story short the eye appointment cost me waaay more than I expected. I spent all of the weekend enterainment budget.  :( I'll catch you guys on the next one.  :salute

The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

Thanks, its not anything that would break me bud. I can afford it, but after losing my job five years ago it took me a while to find a another one.
I didn't have much in the way of savings then and it got tough for a while. I promised myself never to be in that predicament again. Like I said..
I can afford it, but I've gotten pretty anal about not spending anymore money than I have to. I really do appreciate the offer though TMetal.  :salute

Twas a rather small but fun little get-together. Me and the wife, Tex, Tmetal and his nephew. We talked planes, we talked AH .... we (mainly I) sweated in the hangars. It was all good. Later Tex joined me and Kelly for darts and a pint at the Londoner. The dart game was a nail-biter. Sorry everyone interested could not make it. We talked about organizing a 'Second First 2013 Annual Cavanaugh Furball the second weekend of October (yes, I listen, Shifty  :) ).

And, I'm a lousy smart-phone photographer .....  :(

Thanks to Tex for the better shots of the Yak-3 (He's a vol there - no rope stops him.  ;))
