Im positive those two shots are from the movie Battle of Britain. and it was an RC plane. here it is in the movie those look like pictures of the same plane from another angle.

I might be blind but in the movie clip it looks like it misses the tower and hits the building but in the photos it hits the tower

Pick up a copy of "The Hardest Day: The Battle of Britain: 18 August 1940" by Alfred Price, and you can read about the Stukas that attacked that day. And what befell them.   :devil

On August 13, 1940 these nine Stuka Gruppen (~30 planes each) were assigned to Luftflotte 2 and 3:

II./StG 1      Pas de Calais
IV./StG 1      Tramecourt

I./StG 1      Angers
II./StG 1      Angers

I./StG 2      St. Malo
II./StG 2      Lannion

I./StG 77      Caen
II./StG 77   Caen
III./StG 77   Caen

...
Not to nit pick, but did the Germans ever take Stukas to the UK?

On another thread I ask the question about doing viral marketing. Then I had an idea...

Soulyss creates a few of these posters that also serve as a link. Then others create YouTube videos of great AH fights that are hosted on AH website or Facebook. Then those of us that want to post these recruiting posters in various places around the world and create some viral marketing for AH. The first video would obviously feature some Battle of Britain action. I'm happy to up a Bf-109F/E or even a Stuka to help make the video.

I hope you don't consider this hijacking the thread. I think it fits but...

I think there is also some available footage/movies made of one of the Battle of Britain scenarios.  I think Kermit did one, and Vudu might have done one.  They might be on youtube.

I think it's always good if players help spread the word.  :aok

Soulyss, you still up for this?

I thought if the posters also featured actual screenshots of the game, perhaps that would be cool.

Posters could reflect a Rook, Bishop or Knight perspective.

That P-39 picture looks familiar.  Will royalties be distributed?  :D

No but replacement screenshots will be considered!  ;)

Honestly ... and fairly ... I can see adding fine print where the player responsible for the screen-shot is given credit (and that shot is used only with that player's permission - much like the AHII logo and banner would be).  :)

The second one was mine.
