The picture of the artist on the web site looks an awful lot like Cpt Phill from the discovery crab fishing series.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

As far as the prices go he's pretty reasonable for this type of artwork. I just wish he had some more American iron painted up instead of that ugly arse F6F.........they're even uglier than Hurricanes.

Wildcat, not Hellcat.

I agree that they aren't pretty aircraft though.

Oh sure, not EVERYTHING has gull wings, but the F4F still has its charm.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Once I get my basement straight I might order a small "courageous run" print. I do so love looking at Lancs. To me its the most beautiful bomber of the war.

Lets see, gull wings in WWII:

F4Us
Ju87s
B7As

Did I miss any?
