Here is the aftermath of my attempt to fight the nit hordies at 199:

I'm glad there are those interested in base taking, but it's just not for me.  Base takers are there to feed me a steady supply of:

1.) Friendly buffs to protect

2.) Enemy buffs to thwart.

3.) Enemy escorts to maul

5.) Enemy Jabo's intent on destroying the dar, (or any of a hundred other objects that don't move for them).

6.) Hordes "sneaking" in thinking "we got this by surprise" as I drop in at 500mph.

I logged on today at 3pm and just logged off at 10:30. Knights have had a full dar bar (sometimes 2 full dar bars) at A199 that whole time and have yet to take the base. The base was flatten a dozen times and cap was held almost continually. I myself had taken down the VH and fighter hangers on 4 separate occasions  The spawn point was filled with friendly GVs all day long!


My point being: if these bases were any harder to capture the Knights would never capture a base .........ever! Pardon me for saying this, and I'll probably catch hell but, I've never seen such a big group of incompetent boobs gathered on one side in my whole life!  What in the hell is going on in Nitville?!

I watch day after day, week after week, tour after tour, the Bishops and Rooks take bases and win maps while the Knights stand there with their thumbs stuck in their butts. It's just pathetic! 

Take some pride in yourselves you pathetic losers and start taking some bases and winning some wars! Fight for goodness sakes ya big sissys! I've said my peace and now the floor is yours........................ you incompetent, no base capturing boobs!

Been a knight since I started in this game in 2009. They have never been a base capturing country. Lusche could brobably show the stats but I'm willing to wager that the knights have won the map the least of the three countries in the past 4 years, and probably by a wide margin. My rough guess is:

Bish 45%
Rook 40%
Knight 15%

I've been a Knight for 4 years and will remain so but it is kind of funny watching us attempt to take a base. We could have all hangers down, ack down, town down, etc. and still not capture the base because we forget to bring troops. By the time the troops finally arrive, hangars, ack and town are back up and now we have to start the whole base taking process over again. Lol! On the current map I think it took 2 days to capture 199. Meanwhile, we lose 15 of our bases because they were undefended. LMFBO! Anyway, long live the Knights!

I think it's the troops or lack thereof that kills the Knights. 

Rook planners usually had that as #1 priority.  If someone didn't volunteer to bring troops, the planner himself brought them.  There also seemed to be a few guys that were professional Goon pilots.  Anytime those guys smelled a base take they were lifting with drunks.

Being a recovering base taker, I learned pretty quick that seconds matter with troops.  Not having them already in position is a big help to the defenders.

Knights stink at the strategic, slowly win the war, this makes sense, type of base take.  If theres a "This makes no sense, will probably give Rooks the win, but will really tick off the Bish" type of base take, we focus a bit more.

Most people I know who fly knights regularly really don't care about the war. They just want to furball.

I tried for 3 years to help GNATS take bases.  We had a 90+% take record--but then no one defended and it was a complete  loss after the 3rd year.  

I tried for 2 more years to help GNATS and then gave up and went Bish.

I joined a while back and just love this game.  I'm a Knight as well and enjoy fighting with the guys on that team.  I love the dogfighting and really enjoy when our base takes stall out and turn into raging fur balls.  Lots of fun. I fly under a callsign my brother's kid came up with when they signed up for the two week trial.  You'll usually find me in a pony or corsair and if it looks like I'm running I'm just extending out to even up a fight with your turny twisty plane.  I can't believe how much you all bash each other here and on that 200 channel.  That's the only downside to the game.  Looking forward to logging in  in a few days and mixing it up again.  Thanks for all the good fights and hours of fun.  I hope this game has a long life!

I think Redbull got it the closest.  99% of Nitville has been clinicly diagnosed with ADD (or ADHD).  We're more likely to go headfirst into the biggest flame/furball than organise a base-take in a quieter corner of the map.
