Salute to the 364th and the AK's
« on: July 28, 2013, 12:57:07 PM »
The 364th put up a good fight in 67s against AK Hellcats taking some of them with them. We just could not get there fast enough to lessen the slaughter. We did what we could to make em pay once we got in. 364th and AK's  :salute from JG54

You are welcome and  :salute back.

Luck put is between the bombers and their sweep.  We were able to make one pass before the cover arrived.

It all happened fast and was over quickly, it put me in mind of real air battles I've read about. Fso is by far the best experience for my taste here in Aces High.

I got shot up on passing shots by 2 f6f's by time I recovered and went though a pw blackout and came back too I was out of the fight. Ran into a TBM on my way home died to his tailgunner shooting my pilot again lol. That's what I love about FSO the build up to the fight and the furious action as everyone is bringing their A game.

Well put Pops57 and Nathan60!

I find that I prefer FSO to any other event in the AHII sphere.  I've been searching for a way to verbalize what it is that I like so much about FSO, and I think you Gentlemen have pretty much wired it.

"Intense planning, Teamwork, Furious battles over a short duration, poor execution or bad luck (Golden BB) and its over until next frame ... Perfect!"
