Seven or eight in when I entered, 3 when I left.
200 plus in main at the time.
I took a B26 to France, was attacked by a 109 the pilot of which swam home after messing me up pretty bad, was shot at by a trailing friendly who then began wondering just who had shot him down .
I told him he shot at me and killshooter shot at him.
With 1 engine out and rudder damage from the 109 attack I managed to get to the coast and bombed some complex there with no damage to same, we need blast damage in here.
I turned for home and after a long flight hiding I managed to spin out on landing and died.
It was worth the 14.95.
Why, when there were only a few in the arena could it be worth 14.95?
Because from the time I took off till I ate dirt there were enemy planes in the area who could have and indeed attempted to find and stop me.
Because the people trying to stop me were not flying out of theater and/or same country aircraft.
Because on the outbound trip friendlies [except for the guy who tried to shoot me
] were watching over me and in at least one case distracted the enemy from me.
Because the enemy who shot me up already had 2 kills prior to meeting my top turret.
Because the guy who tried to shoot a friendly was really surprised.
Because it was fun.
I guess it is all a matter of what you consider fun.
I hope HTC does not decide to do away with CT for low usage.
