in 2009 i was on a UKC hunt near Longville, La. We turned out the Walkers at about 9:30 p.m. and waited for them to strike (get on a trail) which didn't take long. We started heading into the woods and after about 5 min the dogs when quiet real quick..... all of 5 of them. We keep moving in to locate them when they blazed past us at full run headed back towards the trucks. Standing there scratching our heads wondering what the hell was going on we were overcome but the most musky stench i ever smelled followed by something very close breathing real heavy and making a growling type noise I've never heard and at 45 years old I've heard everything in these parts. the oldest fella on the hunt, about 70, said it was a Skunk Ape and we need to get our arse back to the trucks.i wanted to go in and try to see it but the old man let me know it'd be a long walk back to Longville for me if I did. Anybody that coon hunts knows the only way to get a hound off a hot trail and back to the truck is on a leash (dragging him most of the way). When we got back to the trucks all the dogs were hiding in their kennels except for one that was hiding under the toolbox.

Have your dogs ever acted that way before? Can you remember the sound and the feel of the woods at the time this happened? Why did the Old man feel it was time to go and what did he tell you about his encounters on the drive back?

I don't find it ridiculous. Bones and fragments of bones from thousands of years ago have been found, Yet never one from the Sasquatch?  Doesn't prove it's non existence but makes it seem much less likely.
How many chimp fossils have been found ? What is the soil like where they live ?

fossils aren't evidence of the existence of anything anyway, they were put there by God to test our faith

the more you know
Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.

I'm not missing anything, like I mentioned before.  What you might find to be 'credible', I don't.

ack-ack
Take a look at Dr. Sykes. Pretty credible man there. Not bad credentials either. Met him at OSU while he was here.

ya the vid is blurry.....obviously not "Proof" but it makes me think....and the old Patterson film is messed up....the creature in that vid you can see the muscles moving under the fur....and the fact that it has a big ol set of boobs..... :O   I just dont see a suit maker making it a female.....to me that is a huge "what the hell :headscratch:"

I don't need to see something to know it exists....I did tattoo Gods name on my face and right hand  :D

I would not doubt that they are real.....there has been many animals that were "extinct" only to be found alive and well.

I also wouldn't be surprised to find out they dont exist  :lol
ink look up Bill Munns report. You would be surprised how clear that movie really is.

I really don't get that impression from most of the eyewitness accounts of Sasquatch.
People who make these generalized statements amaze me.

You, and others in your party have been had.

1. Another human that you either know or don't know is still laughing because he scared the crap out of you.

2. It was an animal and because you and your friends had already been freaked out "because it was suddenly quiet" the sound it made scared the crap out of you and your friends.

3. Your mind over time has changed what really happened and your observations are no longer a memory but have changed to a fantasized memory.

What happened the next day?  Find any tracks?  How about offal?  Hair snagged on a branch?  A 50 pound dog cant go through the woods without leaving some evidence and you think this 7 foot, 400 pound beast can move like fog?  Why, because he's smarter than a dog?  Are you smarter than a dog?  Are you smarter than this phantom?  Can you go through the woods and leave no evidence?
So what can throw 300-500 lbs rocks into a dry river bed ? Please enlighten me. I had the key to the Gate<pisses the timber company off they have to let me work my claim> . A human would have had to hike without benefit of trail about 30 miles through underbrush you can't believe. This is the second time I have had something throw rocks into the river bed. Rocks so big me and my "little" brother could not budge them.  I can go through the woods and leave no evidence you can find. You people that say it can't be are so lost on this subject. There is a mountain of evidence. Some very good videos. Some great pictures. Some credible sound files. Trackways that defy explanation. Look up Sykes dna study. Look up Bill Munns.

when I said the vid is blurry I was referring to the baby in the trees in New York...although I clearly see something very Ape like swinging around having fun.

looking at his web site now.

I remember the first time I watched a vid of the Patterson film that had been reworked to show more detail, and that was the first time I saw that the creature had boobs.....lots dismiss this and still say its a fake.....

but I dont know about that....if it is a suit, the guy who made it is a genius....just for making it female....but then there is the muscle movement under the fur...a hematoma in its right leg....

I know sea turtles all go to a pre known to die, was watching a film on sea turtles and they found a cave that had thousands of dead turtles...thousands of them.......many creatures know when the are gonna die and go someplace for that....squatchs could very well do the same....or just straight up bury their dead.

I am a little skeptical but I lean towards believing they are real......

I did see a foot print that was messed up a long time ago....it was imbedded on the side of a stream that was over 3 feet across,(I couldn't even come close to stepping over the stream) it was 4+ inches deep....a guy I used to work for called me up and had me come over to see it....back then I thought he was trying to play a trick on me but now a days I am not so sure.(he swears he wasn't)

The fact remains that for a population to survive threw the centuries it must have a critical mass and work together in some way. So, we are talking about 1000s of bigfoots running around the US all of them making sure they never ever leave a trace, hide their dead and once in a while prank and tease humans.

Does any if the above bother anyone? Lol

Some of these stories gave me chills, Bigfoot or not.
"It was once believed that an infinite number of monkeys, typing on an infinite number of keyboards, would eventually reproduce the works of Shakespeare. However, with the advent of Internet messageboards we now know this is not the case."

What is the exact number a species needs to survive?

They have left traces.

The "hide their dead" theory doesn't hold water.

"Prank and tease"= warn and try to drive off, there's plenty of those encounters. No, there is not overwhelming amounts of evidence but there is enough for it to be possible for them to exist. The enhanced Patterson film makes a hell of a case itself. I understand where you are coming from but I honestly believe they will be proven real.

What is the exact number a species needs to survive?

Depends on the species. For human beings roughly 54 couples to provide sufficient genetic mutation.

Of course there is another viable explanation which covers everything. I've met Hillbilly, he's big. Bigfoot is bigger (although perhaps less furry). Hillbilly, Bigfoot, Hillbilly, Bigfoot, full moon, Hillbilly, Bigfoot, AHA! Hillbilly IS Bigfoot every full moon! HE throws the rocks in his own river, runs around scaring Surfinn and wakes up the next day all confused and wearing shredded shorts!  :x
