been playing this game for 8 or so yrs now and never downloaded any of the sound packs wt ones would be good

What Vudu said. I like to mix and match them. You may like the GVs sounds in one pack but like the plane sounds in another. Downloading all of them and your options are endless.....Fruda's flaps sounds, TwinBooms engine sounds and Mitzu's gun sounds in one plane for instance. Same thing for GVs.

I have all the sound packs downloaded and use them as they are, except for the check six.  I have my own.  every month or so, I switch the sound packs and game feels like brand new.

I think there is a lot of hard work in each sound package and some expense on getting the sounds.  Make sure you respect the authors work.
