It may not be the eye candy people want, but one thing is for damn certain. It has the best community of players. I have been playing another game for a few months now and that player base/community is a vile, disgusting, crap hole, flame bating, troll fest of sqeakers and mommies boys. If you ever think about leaving this game, Dont. You'll NEVER find a gaming community as close as this one. On that note, Looks like I'll be seeing you guys soon.

I haven't played in a couple of years but I drop by the boards every now and then.

I have some great memories from my days with JG42 (dam not even sure if thats the right number now lol)

My first FSO with the squad leader shooting over my shoulder me thinking "Um there is no killshooter in FSO please be a good shot" He was but that tracer zipping over my canopy almost made me pee myself.

The time we were in the MA and Doobs casually says of squad vox "Hold on I got a bear at the door" channel went silent for a good 10 seconds then Maxi pipes up in his heavy accent "Da diddly he just say" lol

The time i nailed Levi in my little FM2

And the time I nailed an ex JG42 squaddy in a dead tight deck scraping turn fight. Marty B i think.

Some where in the future I hope to find the time to come back.

AH was and always will be my fondest gaming memory.

:lol a couple of weeks ago some past player who converted to WOT dweeb said we were a bunch of arses and everybody over there was so nice and wonderful.  :rofl

The small percent of the player base that spews crap in the forums and in game are the minority, thank God. 


Normally we polish a plane for someones return but I think I saw someone warming up your turtle.

    Welcome Home.  :aok   Some focus too much on the window dressing and fail to see the what makes this the best flight sim. A community that cares (for the most part) to make it a great experience. I have confidence AH will continue to improve it's look. Also I would upgrade my PC if required to run an improved AH game as my PC is one of the older ones that can still run this relatively well.

    Having to develop skill in this game perhaps is a buffer to the average lame gamer that only want instant gratification and cheat codes. (lol Xbox generation)
