How come if I play back a flight in the cockpit view and use the recorded views the film viewer does not recognize my F10 head position settings.  For instance when looking backward in the film all u see is the headrest (default rear view)?

It's an annoying issue with the film viewer. One of MANY issues with the film viewer.

What we need is a totally re-coded film viewer, from the ground-up. We probably won't get that any time soon, since it's a secondary feature of the game and HTC is rather busy.

It's a pain but you have to set all your views on each aircraft in the film viewer for them to work.   Set them up just like in the game.

The views are already saved in head position files. I wish we could import them into the film viewer.

That way we could also share head positions when sharing films. Not that most would, but it could be a nice knowledge exchange method. Sharing of ideas, etc.

Yeah it's odd that the viewer seems to grab other in-game settings like your graphics settings but not the head positions. I don't fly a lot of different planes other than in FSO. Lately I'm using TIR also so it doesn't use the head positions anyway. If I ned to I just stop the film at the beginning and set up the head positions and deal with it. It works.
