Yes it was quite intense there for a while.
I alternated flying Spits and Jugs depending on whether I was on the Offence, (Jug) or defending, (Spit). Once I was caught down on the deck in a Spit by 3 190's and had to endure about 3 minutes of them taking runs at me. Made me sweat pretty good! Luckily a P-47 and later another Spit jumped in and all three 190's went down.
It seems the plane matchup is quite even, although the styles of fighting are very different, except perhaps the 190's and Jugs.
Lots of fun and I'm sure it will get better once the Strat system gets set up.
