Welcome to the darkside Jack!! here are a couple of things you should know.. 1.ALWAYS look around while flying! 2. Ask questions, this is a extremely hard game. 3. Each plane has its own flying style, so don't expect that each plane will perform the same way. 4. I would recommend learning the N1K2, ki84 the spit 8, or the F4U1d, these planes are well balanced and are good to teach you the basic areas of Air Combat Maneuvers.

Two comments:

1. Don't say we are a wonderful community - someone is sure to come along and prove you otherwise. We are, but just don't say it out loud...

2. Realize that this game is like the Hotel California - you can cancel your account any time you like, but you can never leave. I have been leaving this game since 2001.
