If anyone gets these, I'd be interested in how they compare with CH pedals (which I have).  

The latter have a very annoying feel across the center position, which seriously impacts controllability (at least mine do).  This has nothing to do with pots versus alternatives, but is a mechanical (detent?) issue, which from a system perspective occurs prior to the mechanical-to-electrical tranducers (be they pots or whatever else).

in CH peds in not so much as a detent as a point where both return springs are not under tension..the fix....remove the springs.

TD, I think it's an indent in the runner to allow you to know that you are centred. I find it helpful, but my limbs often get lost in combat  :uhoh

have not removed springs because you would have no 'center' then and would have to keep feet
on the pds the whole time flying just to keep the auto pilot from coming off.
