:airplane: How true! One of my good friends flies a chopper for Erlanger hospital here in Chattanooga and I have made sure he knows where the closest open space is around my house! LOL
Brad Simmonds is his name and we play a lot of golf together when we get the chance. He flew for a "Mash" type unit in Iraq! :salute to Brad and all those guys who flew these things in combat area's, they gotta have a lot of nerve!

speaking of choppers and combat rescue units...after watching that series inside combat rescue, i have a whole new level of respect for the airforce pjs.

:airplane: Just think about how many more people would not be with us today, if not for the bravery of the air rescue guys, both in rotary and fixed wing aircraft. :salute

An after thought on helicopters, the Huey was a good bird, but before Huey's (espacially if you were in the Marines) the C 34 Choctaw was something else, what I don't know, but something else. At least it got you from point A to point B.( most of the time). Ahh, it only seems like 45 years ago. :salute :old:
