wing stress
« on: October 28, 2013, 09:29:57 PM »
Is it me or has anyone else notice more wing breakage???  I don't think I've pulled off 3 sets in the last two years, yet , this tour, I think I've lost count on how many times I've pulled wings off.

To investigate that as a bug requires film.

i've been high angle high speed diving 109s, 190s and p47s without snapping anything. then again i don't dive at full throttle and i make use of the elevator trim. maybe you're not catching the stress sound when it kicks in.

It's not happened to me, but to a couple of my squaddies this tour.  It does seem strange.

wings do seem weaker, i snapped both off my spit 8 in a low and slow turn fight. and ive never even lost one before while diving in at max speed. they also seem to be blown off by shots easier too lately.  got hit by just a couple spit 9's bb's and took entire wing off my pony ?!?

First off, in order for this to change, it would require an game update, which occurred on August 21, 2013.

If you think you are experiencing more often, it is likely the joystick is spiking more, causing more stress from the control surfaces.  Easy to check.  Open the "Map Controllers" panel and see if any of the axises are spiking.
