Luftwaffe Parachute Canisters

This would expand the He 111s role as a re-supply vehicle in the MA. Allow it to drop vehicle and field supplies.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Better if able to bring some of each...
Troops, bombs, sups, v1 or fritz missiles...
And make the front guns fixed if player is at pilot station!

German paratroops jumped without their weapons. So these canisters would be useful if the JU52 is put (back?) in the game. Then the drunks would have to go to the canisters before they could overrun the map room.

Apparently they did carry their personal firearm, but early they didn't carry extra ammo, grenades, or other weapons. Later they jumped with an ammo vest.

I say leave the heavy hauling to the C47 for now, so no field supply ability.  But, I'd vote for partial supplies of sorts. Allow the He111 to carry 3 (or 4?) gv supplies, and maybe 5 troops?

On that note... now would be a GREAT time for HTC to introduce the different troop carrying capacities for the different troop carriers.  Give each carrier some sort of due in respect to the number of troops they could actually carry.  Give goon maybe 16, the LVT2 maybe 12, and keep the M3 and 251 at 10.  Since the He111 was in fact used as a transport quite often, why not give it the ability to at least mimic some of that ability in AH???   :aok

I think the 5 troops and 3 gv supplies makes sense.

and you know what Skuzzy and Hitech said, repeatedly, in the past...the more troops something carries the more troops it will take to capture a base.
