Deepest condolences Earl.
I hope you stick around and talk about airplanes for a while my friend.
One of my loves, Barbara, had a memorial service today at 3PM. It was a beautiful service at the Ringgold United Meth church. Many, many friends of ours and some people I did not know was in attendance. I will be forever humble to that pastor and church for today.
We are having a memorial flight in honor of Barbara, at 8PM, EST, in the main late war arena, featuring B=29's. She would sit by my side during the times I was on line ,in the game, until about the last 4 or 5 months. She enjoyed all the banter back and forth and really like the dialog missions we flew and the B-29 was her favorite aircraft in the game, followed by the B-17.
Many, many times, she would actually be at the controls and I would handle the radio VOX. I never could talk her into using the radio. I taught how to fly in a Cessna 172, but as I said before, never would let her solo, just wanted her to be able to land herself if something happened to me during one of our many flights.
As far as God will let me, I plan on being in this game, until my eyes finally give up the ghost or worse, I have to report to heavens Air Force.
