clipboard map info
« on: November 25, 2013, 03:34:16 PM »
Since we can hover mouse and get player name/location, it would be nice to hover on fields and get... field name, altitue, radar status, etc. Maybe even spawns of that base. Maybe only that info by player preference.

Sure would be nice to get rid of clutter on my map and not have to turn these things on and off to get it.

Neat! So we can set fixed view or Mouse over view. Trying to work out radar rings on some maps is a real pain holding the mouse over a field and just getting a full report plus radar ring status for that field alone would be neater than the two click for report we have now.

Right click, and click status, you get most of what you just asked for.  I use that feature all the time.

I wasn't really interested in the status part. It's more about getting rid of clutter like radar zones, altitudes and spawn locations but making them easily and quickly available by hovering over on a base.

Status would just be an added quicky.

What about having a toggle feature that can switch between two settings; one with dar circles, altitudes, spawn points, etc showing and another where you can set minimal (or none) and just see airplane dots?  Kind of like how we have 3 tabs for the text bar, we could have 2 tabs for the clipboard.
