Of course, every guy in here is an expert
. I've been trying to do a little research online to see what kind of bed might work for some hip pain relief. Things seem to point to either memory foam or latex foam mattresses. I've laid on a few memory foam mattresses in some stores, but I know you cant get a good idea of what they will do long term. Our current mattress, which is a Serta, seems to have lost its support on my side of the bed, as I seem to sleep in what I call a hammock. In fact in the last month of sleeping in motels about 8 nights doing road trips, I sleep better in motel beds than my own.
I am a side sleeper as they call them. I also weigh 100 or more pounds more than my wife, dangit she is thin and very trim, so I guess that is why my side of the bed wears out. I'd like to say it wore out from other ..... um nevermind. Maybe if I get the right bed, some twerkin may be in order somewhere
Since I am the one complaining about aches and pains, she said to buy whatever I was happy with, but had concerns with the foam mattress sleeping hot and in a hole as some people describe the memory foam mattresses.
So, I was looking for some input from our community, as I know we have some older
participants in our membership. Wife and I are in our mid 50's and been married 35 years this last June.
