Forcing people to play a certain way is the biggest complaint on the BBS... oddly, its also the biggest request  ;)

It's just a cheap trick.

The behavior police, they live inside of the game
The behavior police, they all whine the same
The behavior police, they're coming to arrest me, oh, no

You know they talk of the shame
And those rumors ain't nice
And when I play the game
I don't think of it twice

'Cause they're waiting for me
They're looking for me
Every single night
They're whining me insane
Those players project shame

The behavior police, they live inside of the game
The behavior police, they all whine the same
The behavior police, they're coming to arrest me, oh, no

Well, I can't play my way
'Cause they're waiting for me
On the runway
And they'll whine bout me tonight, tonight

Its the difference between  a sim and a game.  That whine doesnt hold weight here.  Probably hard to see at first but if you stick around you will see. Join a squad.

snailman should do a chart on the top tour guys how many 2weekers and averge ppl they kill i think the shame would improve game!

Consider training. I shot hundreds of thousands of offline drones over the years. With a correct flight plan and half decent gunnery everyone is a threat in the MA. It is a difficult game and you can't expect equaling the top sticks in a few weeks/monthes/years...some people never do.

I was in an ingame discussion the other day with a few guys, it seems the first thing we all did in this game, WB or AW was try and shoot a friendly down. Don't deny the new guys such a reminiscing experience like this by making them train.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

I think you'll find the ratio of new players killed compared to those with some playing time will be less, mostly due to the numbers of existing players compared to '2 weekers' though some existing players that have played for years fly no better than a 2 weeker.

Look at it this way.  There will always be a top predator and there will always be sheep.

A voluntary newb arena wouldnt be a bad idea.

Airwarriro had a decent setup where you could go to the newb arena an stay until you reached a certain amount of points each for fighters and bombers For example. Once you achieved a certain score in say fighters. You could up fighters but they would not have any ammo. Same thing with bombers. then you would more or less be forced into one of the MAs

I think squads should train their guys on the da instead of using new guys for fodder while they perch to "clear sixes" and land 10 kills.

I deliberately left a horde squad for one that actually trained.

Good squads do work  with other squadmates weaknesses and learning new moves.
The DA Really isnt the best place for training with the private arenas now , just make a room up
