If everyone held true to this literally, all duels would end up in a HO after the first merge and the winner would be decided on who hits the ground last.

How about we hold off until we have, as Iago says, the ocular proof?

LOL, that is not true at all, that is assuming all planes can get head on right after the first merge, and it doesn't always work like that.

I'll wait for the film to watch him got shot, sure.

Most duels with nearly evenly matched pilots often result in a second head on merge situation.  In my experience both in official and friendly duels, both pilots often forgo the HO shot opportunity here in order to advance the fight beyond what would otherwise be a rather uninteresting ending.  Not saying this is what happened, but just explaining what has been an unwritten rule in AH for years.

Regardless of what may or may not have happened in the last duel it looks like it was a hell of a matchup.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

For sure. The first K4 fight was one of the best energy V angle fights I've had in quite some time.

Yup.  Intimating irregularities before ocular proof is sometimes....exposing.

Doesn't look like Sonic ever had a gun solution and if he'd have pulled for one, he'd have rammed SunsFan.

^This, i found it to be a bit questionable but sunsfan is a great pilot and smart too, so he probly knew he needed to end it early to win and he did i had fun though thanks again for putting this tournament together BE. You should put together a single elimination tournament over the summer too that would probabaly be easier also haha.
